It looks like Urban Outfitters will cement itself as the ultimate hipster Mecca by opening pizza shops in its stores.
The retailer has recently purchased the Philadelphia-based pizza restaurant Pizzeria Vetri and its parent company, with plans to offer the food in some of its locations, reports Philly.com. After a financially tough year, it hopes the new offerings will increase foot traffic and the amount of time shoppers spend in the store.
Urban Outfitters has previously opened in-house restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, in its various locations in an effort to make the retail experience more experiential.
