If you thought rich teenagers stunting on Instagram was peak flex, wait until you see the feeds of these fashionable kids. The New York Timesrecently profiled a number of these Instagram child stars and their stage moms—giving us an inside look into the weird world of being a street style blogger who is under the age of nine.

Often decked out in designer goods including Gucci, Dior and Acne, these kids are the real deal. In fact, one “Instamom” named Keira Cannon, frequently hires a professional photographer to take photos of her five-year-old son Princeton for his page. She tells the NYT that she and her son receive packages weekly, and depending on the brand, can make up to $250 per a single post. Other parents have also negotiated higher-profile deals with the likes of New York Fashion Week and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop newsletter.

Kids featured in the story have their own style blogs, such as four-year-old London Scout, or have attended Paris Fashion Week, like Alonso Mateo, who boasts over 600,000 followers. While it might be hard to believe, the collective number of followers between the seven kids profiled is well over 1.2 million users. Many parents create weekly calendars to manage the accounts of their kids. “It’s the same thing you would do with a magazine,” one mother said.

While some parents expressed concern with the exposure and online fame, many view it as a fun project with their kids and hope that it will lead to a great future full of opportunities for their child.
