Back in July, NYC was host to the first run of New York Fashion Week: Men's. The event could be considered a success, bringing out some of the city's most notable menswear designers, and drawing support from some major celebs. But with the second run of NYFW: M rapidly approaching, it appears that there going to be a few changes to the menswear-focused week.

As reported by WWD,  The CFDA has switched the men's week from it's original scheduled dates (Jan. 28 to Jan. 31) to a later run of Feb. 1 to Feb. 4. This was done to directly to compliment the men's fashion calendar, with Paris' men's fashion week wrapping up on Jan. 30.

The CFDA has also decided to change the location of the event, switching from Skylight Clarkson Square to Skylight Clarkson North. Considering that the new venue is just around the corner from its original space, this isn't too drastic an alteration.

The above changes aside, sponsors like Amazon Fashion, Dockers, and Cadillac are slated to return for the week's second run. More importantly though, many of the designers that helped fill the week's schedule are planning on coming back to show for another season in NYC. Mark Beckham, the CFDA's business director of fashion week, is expecting to host at least 51 shows (around the same as last season).

Considering both London and Paris have their own isolated menswear weeks, it's refreshing to see that NYC—an obvious fashion capitol in its own right—receive the same support for yet another season.
