Jean-Michel Basquiat's estate has authorized the release of a first edition for the first time in 10 years. The artist's screenprint titled Hollywood Africans in front of the Chinese Theater with Footprints of Movie Stars will be sold in a limited run of 60.

The artwork is related to the well-known piece Hollywood Africans that is currently on display at the Whitney Museum in New York. The image depicts Basquiat with his friends Toxic and Rammellzee during his second exhibition at the Larry Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles. The work is a commentary on the marginalization of African-Americans in the entertainment industry.

The piece will sold exclusively in person at Pace Prints locations or by sending an email to basquiat@paceprints.com with your name and phone number beginning Oct. 21.
