In 1851, John Lobb made a journey across England from Cornwell to London completely by foot. During his trek the shoemaker, who later launched his namesake brand, relied on only one pair of his handmade boots.
For Fall/Winter 2015, the brand goes back to its roots, depicting this seasons footwear in a short film that recreates the original voyage taken by the 22-year-old Lobb. The new collection, the first by artistic director Paula Gerbase, features luxe leather ankle boots, oxfords, derbys, and sneakers.
Each piece is crafted using the highest quality materials and a close attention to detail that can sometimes require 190 stages to complete.
