Women have been trying to emulate Cara Delevingne's bushy brows by any means possible for a minute now. However, one UK teen, Polly Smith, may be permanently scarred after having an allergic reaction to an eyebrow tinting treatment, The Mirror reports.

Smith went to a salon and had her brows threaded, waxed, and dyed in hopes of making them stand out more. Unfortunately, she got a lot more than she bargained for when she woke up the next morning practically unable to open her eyes due to a severe allergic reaction. Her eyebrows also turned yellow and had already begun to scar. Doctors diagnosed Smith with an allergic reaction and fear her face could be permanently scarred. The teen's eyebrows have also started falling off completely.

The infection will affect the 19-year-old Smith even more than it would the average person. "Being a performer [Smith is a dancer], if my face is disfigured, it is going to impact me at auditions," she told The Mirror. Now, she is warning others to stay away from similar procedures. "You should think twice about doing something which could scar your face," she said. "I don't think it is worth the risk." And just when you thought things couldn't get worse for her, when she returned to the salon to get her money back she was refused because staff said they followed standard procedures.

You can take a look at the results of Smith's treatment below.
