If you've ever wondered what Star Wars characters would look like if the Mos Eisley Cantina opened up as a hipster bar in Brooklyn, you aren't alone. Illustrator Marcello Pisano has created a series of images that reimagines the iconic franchise's most prominent figures wearing clothes from famous streetwear brands.
Chewbacca, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia are outfitted in some of streetwear's hottest names, including adidas, the Palace x adidas collaboration, Carhartt, and Gosha Rubchinskiy, respectively. The artworks include other famous characters, like Darth Vader, and brands, such as Marcelo Burlon.
It's a fitting tribute as we inch closer to the release of the next installment in the series, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which hits theaters this December.
