Union Los Angeles has teamed up with Reggieknow for video lookbook like you’ve never seen before.

The two-part series, titled “Mousetrap,” draws inspiration from the Run Run Shaw flicks of the 1970s and ‘80s, and is centered around a wildly eccentric storyline communicated in Chinese with English subtitles. The first part of the short film takes place in 1986, when Reggieknow (founder of Fashion Figure Inc. styling agency) is attempting to convince Union’s Chris Gibbs to carry his gear in the store. But Reggieknow’s efforts are sidetracked when Gibbs becomes distracted by some swagged-out hotties from the Mousestrap Club, who have a secret plan of their own: to jack his goods.

Needless to say, Gibbs falls victim to their ruse and wants nothing more than to get even.

The second installment of the film follows his journey to getting revenge. And it’s just as crazy as the first. But among all the campy imagery, dialogue, and action, we see Union’s inventory of fresh threads highlighted throughout. Brands like Comme des Garçons, Junya WatanabeVisvim, Lacoste, and Nike are all featured in the story.

You can check out part 1, which was originally released in 2011, above and part 2, released this month, below. To shop Union LA’s current offerings, go to the retailer’s online store
