Drake Showed Up to His Sotheby's Exhibit

Drake makes an appearance at his "I Like It Like This" exhibit at Sotheby's, and shares images of the art and music pairings on Instagram.

Sotheby’s S|2 art division was the place to be tonight, because Drake was there celebrating his contributions to a new exhibit.

You may remember back in March, when it was announced that the auction house had linked up with Drizzy to curate the soundtrack for its latest show called I Like It Like This.” The exhibit, which kicked off last week, features the work of contemporary African American artists, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kara Walker, and Tony Lewis. Drake was given the task to pair each piece with the music of his choice, and earlier tonight he showed up at the gallery for a special event DJ’d by Vashtie.

For those of us who weren’t lucky enough to attend, Drake made sure to share images of the night on his Instagram account, primarily focusing on the art and music pairings, which included tracks by Popcaan, A$AP Rocky, and Skepta.

You can check out some of the photos from tonight below. The “I Like It Like This” exhibit is currently open to the public on the second floor of Sotheby’s Sl2 gallery in NYC.
