Not unfamiliar with public scrutiny or damning lawsuits, Abercrombie & Fitch came under fire in a 2009 Supreme Court case for its discrimination against a Muslim sales applicant who was denied a job due to her headdress. Since former CEO Michael Jeffries stepped down in 2014, the company has been attempting to reinvent itself as a more approachable brand, both for its employees and its customers, but only time will tell if Abercrombie is clever enough to win them back.
