Pitti Uomo is bringing back its Born in the USA by Liberty Fairs section for a second consecutive season, reports WWD. The section, which is made up entirely of brands created and produced in America, was a great success during its first edition at the biannual trade show this past January.

"We believe this partnership was successful for our brands because of the strength of the collective," co-founder Sam Ben-Avraham told WWD. "Every time you venture into a new territory it’s highly beneficial to be part of a communal operation on the brand side and have some strength in numbers." The first Born in the USA section garnered almost 8,000 visitors, many of which represented retailers like Barneys New York, Carson Street Clothiers, Gentry, and Nordstrom.

A handful of the brands from the first version of Born in the USA will be returning this summer, including Filson, Freenote, Knickerbocker Mfg. Co., MSL by Billy Reid, Red Wing, and The Brooklyn Circus. The section has also made some additions for the upcoming fair, such as 3sixteen, Ernest Alexander, Shwood, Slightly Alabama, and The Hill-Side.

It's great to see the trade show, which is known for leaning heavily towards Italian suiting, branch out to the changing trends in menswear. In addition to the Made in the USA section, Pitti Uomo has evolved by selecting out-of-the-box Menswear Guest Designers, like Jeremy Scott's Moschino and Hood by Air.

Pitti Uomo will return later this summer from June 16 to 19.
