wings + horns never fails to impress, but for Fall/Winter 2015, the brand truly went all out.

Inspired by the handmade suits donned by the first astronauts, the upcoming “Contact Light” collection is one of the label’s most innovative lines to date. All your season essentials have been reinterpreted with technical fabrics, functional detailing, and innovated construction techniques.

We’re talking pieces like the leather bomber and wool topcoat, which have been updated with a warm Polartec Windbloc lining; a combat parka and mac that feature Polartec Alpha, an insulation originally developed for the U.S. Special Forces; and the revamped vest, blazer, and CPO jacket constructed from Polartec Powershield, a weather-resistant multi-knit fabric.

Clearly, wings + horns wasn’t messing around for this collection, which also features its signature three-layer Cabin Fleece and hand-knit virgin wool across an assortment of outerwear, sweaters, and trousers. But the standout component of “Contact Light” is the utilization of the custom multi-dimensional knit fabric created by Amsterdam-based textile developer Borre Akkersdijk, who also helped design and create the dope installation at the brand's New York showroom.

Scope out the Fall/Winter 2015 collection in the images below. You can purchase wings + horns' current merchandise at its online store while you wait for the official drop of the new collection.
