This coming February will mark nine years since the untimely passing of the late, great Dilla, and if you're looking for a special way to pay tribute to his memory, look no further than this incredible special edition vinyl toy. The J Dilla Figure is an official Pay Jay Productions release, produced under the direction of Dilla's estate.

The piece was conceived and rendered by Detroit-based artist Sintex, and designed and sculpted by Seoul-based toy artist P2PL. The figurine comes with a removable hat, a "Donuts" chain, and MPC sampler which Dilla was known to be a master of. The figure is also rocking a Stüssy tee for which the logo was officially licensed.

J Dilla is considered to be one of hip-hop's most influential artists. Known for the signature "swing" in his beats, he worked with numerous big name acts including A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, MF Doom, Madlib, Poe, The Roots, The Pharcyde and Common. Dilla passed in 2006 at the young age of 32 from a rare blood disease. Recently, his mother donated two of his most prized musical instruments to the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture.

This very limited toy will see just 2,000 pieces produced, so don't sleep on getting your hands on one. The toy is available for pre-order now over at Rappcatts.
