If Dudes Dressed Up as Social Media Sites, This Is What They'd Look Like

We typically don't think of social media as being an influence on men's sartorial choices. Usually, it's the reverse: menswear bloggers take to Twitter and Instagram to share their fire alphets and influence others. Los Angeles-based photographer Viktorija Pashuta, however, has conceptualized and created an unlikely yet exceptionally well done photo series inspired by one question. What if guys were social networks?

Created as the second part to a similar What If Girls Were Internet Browsers series, his latest fashion shoot gives life to popular social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, portraying them as actual human beings. "The idea was not only to use the social media logos as a visual reference, but to transfer their qualities and usability functions into human character portrayed through fashion," Pashuta explains on his blog. As you can see from the photos above, clothing played a big role in the shoot's success.

Pashuta made sure to capture a distinctive quality about each of the social media sites, portraying Facebook as casual, Twitter as dapper, Tumblr as hip, and so forth. Click through above to see them all.
