Project Perpetual, a new art philanthropy effort used to benefit global humanitarian issues, will be launching their  partnership with Jeff Koons and the United Nations Foundation for their first annual fundraising auction coming up laster this month. Founded by art collector Svetlana Kuzmicheva-Uspenskaya, Project Perpetual fuses the energy of contemporary art and the power of global influencers to help those most in need. Project Perpetual works with major contemporary artists from the worlds of fashion, film, business, and art to serve as inspiration to produce a series of new pieces to be auctioned off. In its first year, Project Perpetual will support the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign, which provides children all around the world with life-saving vaccines for measles, polio, rotavirus, and pneumonia.

This year's participants include Sofia Coppola, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Princess Caroline of Hanover, Almine Ruiz-Picasso, Rachel Feinstein, Daniel Arsham, Kate Moss, and Clarence Seedorf, among many others. This November, Project Perpetual will also debut all new works by Jeff Koons, including the large plaster sculpture shown here. With this first edition, the auction will include additional donated luxury handbags, customized by Koons, sold as individual lots.

An auction of the works led by Simon de Pury will take place on Sunday, November 9, 2014 in New York. All proceeds will benefit the United Nations Foundation.
