Today, a new exhibition opens at the famed Palazzo Reale in Milan, where the launch of the 2015 Pirelli Calendar just took place. Titled "Form and Desire — The Pirelli Calendar Collection," it contains 200 photographs spanning the 50-year history of the Pirelli Calendar, which has come to reflect the standards of ultimate beauty and sexiness in the years they have been made (the first was in 1964).

Each year, Pirelli hires a renowned photographer, who then chooses a range of top models to together create an iconic collection of images. Just as much, these images show the styles that each photographer has brilliantly cemented as their own in the history of the medium, whether it be Helmut Newton (1986), Patrick Demarchelier (2005), Annie Leibovitz (2000), Nick Knight (2004), Herb Ritts (1994), Steve McCurry (2013), Terry Richardson (2010), or Bruce Weber (2003).

Enjoy some of the images from the exhibition above and visit "Form and Desire — The Pirelli Calendar Collection" at the Palazzo Reale in Milan from Nov. 21, 2014 - Feb. 19, 2015.
