Gosha Rubchinskiy is doing some amazing things. Besides his fashion line, he's also capturing and solidifying the aesthetic of a youth movement in his home country of Russia through his films and photography. Russia hasn't really had an internationally known youth-culture movements, and Rubchinskiy is really pioneering how that is being addressed and how people are taking youth-culture within Russia to the rest of the world.

Rubchinskiy is pretty damn cool, and pretty busy; the man is selling clothes in some of the most fashionable shops around the world, he's working with some of the world's best streetwear and skate brands—like Vans and Supreme—he's capturing it all as he goes in his photography and films, helping the youth movement to develop and find its voice, and he's selling out talks at prestigious institutions like the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.

For many, Rubchinskiy has really captured the spirit of an entire generation of Russians, and Russian culture site The Calvert Journal has published an in-depth look at what it is that made him so successful in capturing the movement, so check out some of his photographs below, and start reading up on why you should be into Rubchinskiy's work here.
