Brooklyn We Go Hard founder David Obadia has taken a turn toward modern and minimal sophistication.

With the release of his highly anticipated label, Harmony, the Paris-based designer has demonstrated he’s not just a one-trick-progressive-streetwear pony. He has a taste for casual elegance, and Harmony’s inaugural Fall/Winter 2014 collection proves he knows how to execute this concept expertly.

The harmonious use of monochromatic fabrics, considered tailoring, and subtle details create the foundation for the brand’s understated aesthetic that avoids looking too banal. Sharp suits, clean knits, and casual shirting are all prevalent in this release. But the line is definitely steered by its wide selection of next-level outwear like oversized trenches, bombers, and cropped jackets.

Check out images from the collection’s lookbook below. And if you like what you see, head over to Harmony’s e-commerce site, which just launched. Warning: one visit might result in copping a ton of gear, but heightening your style is well worth it.
