If you're unfamiliar with the epic history that is David Choe's life, you may want to Google him. Everyone knows that Choe became super rich with Facebook stock, but the artist also used to have a gambling problem and made (and lost) more than you will see in ten lifetimes.

On his website he writes: "I haven’t gambled in 2 years , but i haven’t cleaned my room in 7 years. Since being let go from all my mainstream media jobs I had a lot more free time on my hands, and decided to finally clean my hoarders room." While cleaning, Choe says that he found a shoebox with $100,000 in cash, hidden under a "pile of comics and cum rags." So what do you do when you already have millions of dollars and just found another $100k? You organize a scavenger hunt.

1.

Titled the "CRITTER’S CROSS COUNTRY CASH CONTEST," the nationwide scavenger hunt ends on October 31 and one person will walk away with the cash and the chance to be in a Steve Lee song, an Asa Akira pornographic film, and a David Choe painting. Those who beg or whine will be disqualified as per his rules, as will anyone who tells Choe how much the money could do for them or their family. He suggests that participants "basically shut the fuck up" and pay attention to the clues shared via his various social media profiles.

Obviously winning $100,000 can't be that easy. There are red dots in 10 locations across the country that you have to find. Once you find the dots, you have to photograph yourself next to them while holding a current local newspaper to earn points. The person with the most points at the end will be flown to Los Angeles and given the loot.

You may want to use those sick days and frequent flyer miles now. For full details, click here.
