Details have slowly been seeping out about Alexander Wang's highly anticipated collection for H&M. Earlier this month British GQ previewed the gear, and then Rihanna was seen stepping out in the threads before anyone else. Today, the campaign's official advertisement has been released and, in an extension of the collection's athletic theme, stars soccer player Andy Carroll and kickboxer Rivaldino dos Santos.

The overall feel of the ads is strong and heroic, with Wang telling WWD that, "We wanted to take certain elements of each sport and portray the ultimate warrior." The campaign was shot by Swedish photographer Mikael Jansson, who has previously worked on campaigns for DKNY, Dior, and Calvin Klein. Carroll and dos Santos are joined by models Joan Smalls, Raquel Zimmermann, Isabeli Fontana, and Natasha Poly. “The girls had to feel big and heroic," explained Wang, "and Mikael used sunlight glares to heighten that effect against a stark white backdrop." The cast of the campaign will also appear in the television commercial and an online film, which are both set to release at a later date.

The Alexander Wang for H&M Collection is set to launch on Nov. 6.
