UK-based inventor Alex Shirley-Smith has created the ultimate treehouse—one that is portable and extremely comfortable. Dubbed Tentsile, this extraordinary contraption can be suspended in the air and offers adventurers a comfortable night’s sleep in its individual hammocks. To hang out above the ground, campers must use three trees as anchor points. The shelter is waterproof, UV resistant, and has a mesh roof that functions as an insect net. Of course, you can still pitch it like a standard tent, but where’s the fun in that?
