This week, the Horticultural Society of New York held an event sponsored by Shady Records titled Block Party 2014, a silent auction that featured original works from some of the biggest names in pop culture and urban art, including KAWS, Todd James, Steve "ESPO" Powers, Sue Kwon, Barry McGee, Dondi White, Lawrence Schiller, Shepard Fairey, Eric Haze, Julia Chiang, and Henry Chalfant, with event proceeds benefiting vocational training and horticultural therapy programs for inmates on Rikers Island.

Online bidding via Paddle8 began on June 5 and the main event was held at The Rooftop Garden at the Arsenal in Central Park on June 11. Many of the artists that contributed work to the auction were in attendance, with Miss Info as master of ceremonies and co-chair along with curator Dana Albarella James.

Check out the photos above of some of the artists, guests, and organizers that came through to support the event, as well as some of works featured in the auction. More art from the auction can be seen on the Paddle8 auction page.
