The Museum at F.I.T. opened a new exhibition today entitled "Exposed: A History of Lingerie." Organized by Colleen Hill, associate curator at the museum, the exhibition charts the evolution of the undergarment over the past 200 years and features over 70 examples of the gowns, whalebone corsets, and revealing teddies that women have worn to bed. Needless to say, things have changed a lot.

The exhibition will show through November 15 in the Fashion and Textile History Gallery at the museum, and there will also be an accompanying book released this summer with the same name as the exhibit. Check out some of the pieces from the show above and head to the Museum at F.I.T. website for more info.
