"The Unicorn Tapestries," woven in the early 1500s, have long been source of almost mystical inspiration. Filled with mythical creatures, extravagantly dressed hunters, and brilliant details of flora and fauna, the tapestries have held our imagination since Medieval times.
Now the legendary works have become the source imagery for a new set of skate decks from French company boom-art. Using The Lady and the Unicorn tapestry, which symbolizes love and understanding, boom-art has created three fresh decks.
Even though boom-art is only selling 80 decks at over $350, you can check out the original tapestries on view at The Cloisters in New York.
