UK-based artist INSA recently finished a vibrant, new mural in the streets of Paris, but he knew people were more likely to see his completed project on the Internet than in person. That's why the innovative graffiti artist decided to turn his piece into a GIF. A work of "GIF-iti," if you will.

"The GIF idea is something I came up with a couple years ago. I was playing with the idea of what people see, how they see art, where they see it in real life, and where they see it online. I know a million more people are going to see it on the Internet, not here in real life," he told us during POW! WOW! Hawaii 2014.

His made his latest piece, entitled C'est La Vie, for the Le MUR XIII, a French organization which promotes contemporary and urban art. To create this work of moving art, he painstakingly painted and re-painted the wall multiple times and documented the progress, eventually turning his photos into a GIF. Eight layers and 72 skulls later, the piece was finally completed. Revel in the glorious GIF above.
