For a group show entitled "The Crazy Life" at New Image Art Gallery, artists Patrick Martinez, Michael Vasquez, and Gregory Bojorquez will each present works that "capture rawness and chaos that cohabitate so naturally in the 'hood'" (that's slang for neighborhood, for those who don't know).
Martinez's paintings/neon pieces, Bojorquez's portrait photography, and Vasquez's figurative paintings seems like such an obvious and perfect combination of works. The show will represent life not only in Los Angeles and Miami where the artists reside, but it will also share common threads with any urban environment anywhere.
