Daniel Arsham has collaborated with everyone from Pharrell to En Noir. Now the New York artist, who makes up half of Snarkitecture along with Alex Mustonen, will exhibit new work in L.A. Arsham's show "Kick the Tires and Light the Fires" opens April 5 at OHWOW Gallery.

Arsham is known for what he calls "future relics," modern items that look like they were excavated centuries in the future. These relics include pop culture debris like a baseball and glove, a basketball, and a McDonald's sign. Working in his usual grayscale color palette, Arsham imagines what objects will define our time on earth. For his show at OHWOW, Arsham will move away from his future relics, showing new and different work at the gallery.

Arsham's show will open after OHWOW's current exhibition "As Above, So Below," which includes a collection of Robert Mapplethorpe's photos.

"Kick the Tires and Light the Fires" opens April 5 at OHWOW Gallery and runs until May 4, 2014.
