We are definitely pro-tattoos here at Complex, but not all ink is created equal. There are some tattoos that wow us a lot more than others and photorealistic, optical illusion pieces are at the top of the list. Just about anyone can trace the lines of a cross or a star perfectly with enough practice, but not everyone can learn to draw, let alone tattoo something three dimensional. We can only imagine the number of hours the artists spent designing these and the pain that the customers had to endure with all the shading and layering.
