Like most art fairs around the globe, the London Art Fair is a haven for modern and contemporary art, a space where poised gallerists make quick sales and art lovers roam the colorful booths. But this fair has something that other international shows don't—an initiative called Art Projects that spotlights some of the most innovative and experimental contemporary art around the world.
One new aspect of Art Projects this year is called "Dialogues." Curated by Adam Carr, "Dialogues" puts international galleries in conversation with ones from the UK, pairing different organizations to facilitate an exchange of ideas. The participating galleries this year include DREI, Limoncello, Galleria Stereo, The Sunday Painter, SABOT, Maria Stenfors, Frutta, and Seventeen.
We got in touch with employees at the London Art Fair to tell us who some of their favorite artists were on view. Based on their selections, these are 10 Artists You Should Know From Art Projects at the London Art Fair.
