A Japan-based underwear retailer has sold hundreds of its bras for men since opening up an online shop two weeks ago.

Wishroom has reportedly seen a noted spike in the popularity of its men's bras after launching a store on Japanese Internet exchange Rakuten. According to a report from Reuters, the brand has sold at least 300 pairs of skivvies in the past 14 days. The undergarments, which were originally meant for cross-dressing men but don't necessarily discriminate, are currently selling for 2,800 yen (about $30) apiece.

Even the brand's exec admitted she didn't anticipate such a positive reception.

"I think more and more, men are becoming interested in bras," Akiko Okunomiya told Reuters. "Since we launched the men's bra, we've been getting feedback from customers saying, 'wow, we'd been waiting for this for such a long time.'"

Wishroom also stocks men and women's basic underwear and lingerie.

Some debate has sparked online over whether men should wear bras, but for the most part, it's pretty based. Let's just figure out a way to alert Ricky Ross, whose tits are more often displayed than Kate Upton's, of his new best friend.
