While you're at home with your lop-sided gingerbread house being basic, visitors to the Metropolitan Museum will be admiring the handiwork of museum's pastry chef Randy Eastman and his assistants. Eastman spent 128 hours crafting this impressive sculpture of the museum out of sugar for the holidays. The sculpture includes every door, statue, tree, and wreath, and there is even a little red double decker tour bus driving down what would be Fifth Avenue.
You can ogle the sculpture in person now in front of the Met's main public cafeteria.
