NEEDS/WANTS is continuing to change up the varsity jacket game, and leaving every cookie cutter looks in the dust. How so? The Toronto-based brand is doing it one leather sleeve at a time.
Designer Sean Brown made some noise with his fresh take on the classic sportswear jacket with his asymmetrical Heritage varsities. The shape stays the same, but the most recognizable change is the single leather sleeved design for some unbalanced dopeness.
Following its contrasting colors from the most recent release is a solid version—don't worry, the distinct single leather sleeve still manages to pop out thanks to the wool body construction. The official colors are Blueberry, Red Velvet, and Coffee, with all being inspired by French artist Yves Klein. The collection drops November 15 on the NEEDS/WANTS website if you need a jacket to break necks for the next couple of months.
