It's easy to assume that high-end labels don't care about causes outside of fashion, but Maison Martin Margiela has been contributing to AIDS research since 1994 with charitable T-shirts that help raise funds in the search for a cure. Starting today, London's LN-CC is offering tees from the full archive of MMM's charity efforts.

The T-shirts are loose-fitting V-necks that read, "THERE IS MORE ACTION TO BE DONE TO FIGHT AIDS THAN TO WEAR THIS T-SHIRT BUT IT’S A GOOD START," across the shoulders and are available in 20 different color options.

The shirts haven't always been available in English, and switch languages every year. Last year the shirts were available in Mandarin.

Although the T-shirts retail for $101 on LN-CC's website, roughly $41 dollars from each shirt will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Like Margiela and LN-CC both know, copping and wearing this tee won't absolve the world of HIV and AIDS, but simply being aware and raising awareness in others is the right place to start.
