Have you ever looked at Google Earth or Google Maps and thought: here’s an opportunity for amazing fashion-photography collaboration. No? Us neither. But the brilliant mind of photographer Joseph Ford saw just that opportunity in a series of aerial photographs that he took, paired with highly detailed and styled shots of clothing.

After the award-winning photographer worked on aerial photographs in Sicily, Mauritius, and Morocco, he saw something in the images that inspired the images above. The concept he came up with was “juxtaposing aerial landscape photography with the fine details of fashion.”

Ford brought the idea to art director Stephanie Buisseret and stylist Mario Faundez at Paris magazine WAD to execute. The result is obviously stunning and needs little accreditation. But, the series was selected for an Association of Photgraphers aware in the UK and got an honorable mention nod in the International Photography Awards.

You can find Ford on his website, Facebook, and Twitter.
