For Harper's Bazaar this month, Candice Swanepoel modeled for photographer Terry Richardson in Desert Valley. While Richardson's shoots often take place in the photographer's famed studio, these outdoor shots are a fresh take on portraying a beautiful model against a raw backdrop of the American West.
"American Splendor" was shot in the Monument Valley Navajo Trival Park in Utah. The striking landscape complements Swanepoel's bold looks. For the shoot, the South African model wore styles by Alexander McQueen, Missoni, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, Emilio Pucci, Celine, Christian Louboutin, and Prada.
