Portugese street artist Vhils has produced works all around the country. He has unveiled work in Paris, Brazil, and even in Sydney. He has recently decided to create a work in America, unveiling a new mural in Philadelphia. It is another portrait collage work that we're excited to tell you about.

Hosted by the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, Vhils and his team created the mural made out of historic photographs of Philadelphia (courtesy of the Temple University Urban Archives). The photos were wheatpasted to the wall and then masked with a layer of white paper. The event was also a learning experience for students from two of the program's art classes and their instructors who had the opportunity to speak with Vhils about his process.
