Surrealist artist Rene Magritte is a pretty big name in art history for his contributions to surrealism. In the Tumblr blog Super Magritte, the artist is honored with newer (20th century, anyway) adaptations of his work. The art is a fusion of 8-bit Super Mario graphics and some of Magritte's most famous works, including Golconda, 1953 and Time Transfixed, 1938. The blog is fairly new so expect more from them in the future. The Son of Man, perhaps?
