Frank Miller is a God in the comic book world. He has written some of the greatest (darkest) stories for various comic publishers and has also done some amazing artwork. His pen and inked drawing for the cover of the second issue of "The Dark Knight Returns" is up for sale for the first time via Heritage Auctions' Comic and Comic Art Auction #7079. The 12.75" x 17.75" drawing features a battered and livid Batman at the ripe old age of 55. Heritage calls the artwork one of the "most memorable" in all of Batman's history and predict that it will sell for beaucoup bucks (somewhere in the half million range).

Also included in this auction is a near mint copy of Batman #1, the introduction of the Joker and Catwoman. Both items are guaranteed to rake in lots of money come August.
