DKNY Artworks is reinventing the concept of the brand's Soho wall mural (1992–2008) in a big way. They have commissioned ten artists from ten different cities to create new versions of both the original wall and the city of New York. The reimagined walls will be displayed in Milan, Dubai, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Seoul, and other international capitals, including New York.
They have landed big names for the project. The brand's four letters see a diverse array of interpretations, from graffiti to Arabic calligraphy. The list of artists includes: How & Nosm, Amy Gartrell, Roids, Maurizio Galimberti, Christophe Hamaide-Pierson, Sasan Nasernia, Calvin Ho, Nod Young, Junk House, and Yamaguchi Soichi. The video below gives you a taste of what the artists created for the project.
