In December 2012, NASA released a rover called "Curiosity" onto the unexplored planet of Mars. Since then, scientists have collected a great deal of knowledge about the mysterious planet while artists have reveled at the beauty of the images taken in space. Curiosity recently captured its first drill test, a series of panoramas, as well as one or two self portraits, showing us a world completely unknown by the comfort and safety of our computer screens.
