London based non-profit, Do The Green Thing, recently released a poster series promoting the upcoming Earth Hour Movement on March 23, 2013. The 23 posters (counting the days until the event) were created by "Pentagram pals," says Naresh Ramchandani, as well as creatives like Google's Tom Uglow, andPatrick Cox.
The poster series demonstrates the power of clever and quality design in the realm of climate change. Designer Patrick Cox commends the movement, stating, "They that know a dig, joke, or nudge is way more effective than another photo of a polar bear.”
