The European Fine Art Fair(TEFAF) Maastricht is hosting a new exhibition from Rossi & Rossi. Returning after a 17 year absence, the gallery will be revealing a specially commissioned painting by the Tibetan contemporary artist Tsherin Sherpa. The work is sure to grab attention because of its reference to the successful radio hit Gangnam Style by South Korean singer Psy. The painting entitled Conqueror (Gangnam Style) features a colorful figure doing the famous dance associated with the single. The artist said he chose to pair the song with the painting because the tune took on various meanings as it spread internationally and he hoped to create a work with a similar versatility.
