Sequence Jewelry provides jobs to those who have a hard time finding employment and gives ex-gang members a second chance at creating something positive for themselves. Co-founded by former fashion editor Ariela Suster, she employs ex-gang members and at-risk youth from her home country of El Salvador to create a line of necklaces and bracelets. This is a great achievement considering El Salvador is home turf to MS-13, one of the most dangerous gangs in the world. Don't think these accessories are just for women, since more men are stepping up their mewelry game. To read the full interview with Ariela Suster, check out Cool Hunting’s website and visit the Sequence website to shop the goods.
