Trial attorney Michael Santo and sculptor Laura Lian have proposed a sculpture project for New York City. It pays tribute to John Lennon through a life-size bronze portrait of him alongside a peace sign inscribed with the messages "Imagine all the People Sharing all the World," "All you need is Love," and "Give Peace a Chance." Santo says:

"John Lennon made New York City his home; he fought to remain here, and, unfortunately, died here. It is important to New Yorkers to commemorate Lennon’s message for all generations with the hope that it not be forgotten."

The completed piece, titled John Lennon Leaning on a Peace Symbol, has been copyrighted with the aim of going up in NYC soon. Stay tuned on Facebook for more updates.
