If you thought riding a normal bike was too much work, wait until you see FLITZ, a concept bike that re-imagines the bicycle and how the rider operates the machine. Instead of sitting down and pedaling, the FLITZ suspends the rider in the air using a body harness that distributes weight evenly, elevating pressure on the back and joints. The rider then runs to gain momentum and then rests their feet on the bike when necessary.  This new design is suppose to be a more universally useable design, allowing people with limited mobility to still ride a bike, but the idea that one needs to have full motion of their legs to propel the machine seems like a whole lot more work.
