Zvi Belling of ITN Architects decided to build himself the home of his dreams in Melbourne, Australia — one inspired by hip-hop and graffiti. Meant to be the first in a series of buildings, he named it "The HIVE" and gave it precast concrete walls, arrows, swooshes, and drips. He got help from graffiti writer, Prowla, who created the style for "HIVE" written on the outside. [Yatzer/Phaidon]
