According to this tweet from The Cut, Raf Simons will be taking over as the Creative Director at Christian Dior, replacing John Galliano, who was fired last year for anti-Semitic remarks. This step for Simons was somewhat anticipated after his unceremonious departure from his previous position as Creative Director at Jil Sander — which will be filled by Jil Sander herself.

Details are still forthcoming, but this is definitely an interesting time for the fashion world. Raf Simons has recently gained cred in the hip-hop world, most notably when he was named dropped by A$AP Rocky in the song "Peso." Raf Simons was also called out by Pusha-T in the Clipse song "Never Will It Stop."
