Artist Paul Kaiju opened his solo exhibition, "Pauly Vinyl State of Mind" last Saturday at LA's Toy Art Gallery. The gallery's owner, Gino Joukar, wrote this piece on The 50 Greatest Designer Toys last year. The show featured numerous iterations of his Boss Carrion character, which has a fish head on the back and an elephant face, with numerous other grotesque details throughout. In addition to a life-size fiberglass version, there was also the regular and pink vinyl versions on display. He also revealed the Pollen Kaiser vinyl, and plans to have a new release each month.
