In light of Super Bowl XLVI, Indianapolis has commissioned 46 murals by local and national artists throughout the city, which will be on display leading up to and during super bowl weekend, where the Giants will take on the Patriots. And the process for selecting the artists wasn't overly selective; 50 percent of applicants who applied were accepted. But this is the Super Bowl, not MOCA's Street Art exhibit, so expect lots of family friendly works for the visitors in town. [Art Info, Arts Council of Indianapolis]
