Denver Woman Arrested for Beating Up $30 Million Painting Then Urinating On Herself

Yeah, you can't make this stuff up.

A drunken, tattooed 36-year-old woman from Denver named Carmen Lucette Tisch was arrested at the recently-opened Clyfford Still Museum. The charge? She leaned against a Clyfford Still painting, 1957 J No. 2, punched it, slid down the 113 x 155-inch piece, before urinating on herself. The painting is valued between $30 million and $40 million.

It remains to be seen whether the painting is damaged or not. The museum opened on Nov. 18, 2011 to exhibit the North Dakota artist's body of work, which spans 60 years. This isn't Tisch's first run-in with the law. Court records have shown she has faced charges of armed robbery and driving under the influence in the past.  [Denver Post]
